About the Artist and Exhibition:

Watleitbe is an Otways (other side of the Painkalac, Wadawurrung, Kulin Nation side) based artist - painter, illustrator, cartoonist, mural and map maker, sign writer, public artist, author, storyteller, to name just a few forms her work takes.

She has exhibited with Qdos Arts Lorne; Boom Gallery Geelong; Elizabeth College Hobart; Karingallery Geelong, Dooranwar Wadawurrung (River, heart) Spring Creek Project; Falls Festival Lorne; has publications in the National Library of Australia; is published by Allen & Unwin, Sticky Institute and self; her woodblock paintings have featured in the interior design collections of Geiorgina Jefferies and Jordan Furniture… To mention a few ways this artist has been celebrated over the past going-on-two decades.
