We are looking for a sous-chef to join our small family run restaurant in Lorne In the Skies Restaurant & Bar

Open kitchen with a view to the dining room and beautiful surrounding outdoors, high job satisfaction from happy customers and great team.

Great opportunity to work alongside our talented, creative, collaborative head chef who specialises in Italian cuisine.

Must have experience in Mediterranean cuisine, working in a fast paced, high volume (up to 200 covers a night) setting with proficiency across busy pans, grills, fryer and larder sections.

Ideal position for someone who prides themselves on their attention to detail, cleanliness, passion for producing exceptional food, willingness to learn and collaborate and who has the drive and desire to be across the running of the kitchen , such as assisting in monitoring stock levels and ordering.

Also an ideal position for someone who is looking to expand their skills and experience in running a successful restaurant or someone who has run a successful restaurant and is keen to get back in the game!

We are flexible with levels of experience : you may be retired but wishing to return or you may just be starting out but have the drive and skills required ~ we are also flexible with duration of the position ~ you may be looking for something seasonal or something long term.
